I will admit that I'm not a huge fan of abstract, however, I am a big fan of color, and I think you have captured color really nicely here.
Abstracts can often be difficult to comment on because anything goes really when it comes to abstracts.
What I can say is that I think they color is excellent. It really has punch and is quite vivid. I do wish that for the challenge there had been some yellow in there somewhere, but with the balloons, that could have been difficult. I think that with paper, you could have added the yellow, and not lost anything, because there really isn't any depth in the shot. Upon looking at it, it does look very flat, not like balloons at all.
Also, I can say that the red is uniform throughout the photo, but there seems to be some noise in the blue. Specifically in the bottom left corner, and where the blue touches the red. Could this have been some shadow that was transformed when you upped the contrast?
I do like the strong curve between the red and blue. That is quite nice and visually pleasing. You have framed and cropped this well. I'm glad we don't see the entire balloons.
Pleasing to look at, but not really full of excitement.

Great brilliant colors, but depth wise a little flat, I think. |

The focus and crop and general lighting, etc, combine to make this look like you cut pieces out of construction paper and photographed them. I believe that you DID shoot balloons, but they could have been anything. :-> If you wanted the balloonyness to show, different choices would have helped; if you didn't care about the balloonyness, you could have saved yourself some trouble and just shot construction paper. :-> |

Wish you'd added a yellow one too. |

Well, it made me stop for a moment, at least. I don't think though that there's anything I really like about this - as an abstract shot there's obviously nothing wrong with it at all - in fact there's a lot that good about it, but I just don't find it interesting. For me, just as a grat subject poorly photographed is still a poor photo, a well photographed poor subject is still a poor photo. |

Definitely takes the price for simplicity! 8 |

So well done in lighting that you can't make these out as balloons. I also feel that this challenge needed representation of all 3 primary colors. The saturation and lighting are perfect! I like your abstract approach as well. Nice shot! 8 -danny |

Really awesome - good graphic abstract composition. I'd love to have seen a yellow one included also, somehow. |
