 I tried hard to find wildlife that was really wild. My find was maybe not so exotic, but it was taken at a lake where the ducks and geese come and go -- to and from who knows where. I took a bunch of pictures of the little ones and their mom -- but this was the one that I think turned out best.

It is interesting that DPC voters always seem to complain about baby pictures, but I bet they go ape for pictures of baby ANIMALS. I like it too.

Interesting capture... Poor wet guy :). Not really like the frame. It asks for some more space around it...overcroped.

Very cute. Good harmony in colour between the bird and the bottom of the water. The lighting could be better and IMO the cropping is to tight.

This is arguably the cutest shot of the bunch. So I rated it higher than most. Your were able to catch a good, crisp shot. Good Job.

I think should win on the cuteness factor. The shot could have been a little sharper but the subject makes up for it :)

What a cutie. Canadian Goose? The crop seems a little strange, but i love it otherwise. I think I would have tried to crop closer on the bottom an looser on the top if possible. A little bit more room at the tail would have also been nice. 8.

nice colours, wish it had just a touch more by the tail and just a hint of eye high light. Good subject, very wild and natural environment too.
