Good Image Sandy, As you say lucky not to have the whole flock,I like the contrast of the Famingo against the background. |

Wow! What a capture. This is ideal for a bookcover and great conversational study. |

great composition! The light is a little dull (of course, nothing you could do about it!), and perhaps DOF could be a little shallower, but overall one of my top pics nonetheless |

Seems a little oversaturated and a little over sharpened but it was an incredible moment to capture. I like the composition and the POV. Focus is dead on. 7 - good luck in the challenge! |

rather amazing shapes in this image and it does add a heap of interest ,but it also seems disconnected perhaps its the mother bird beind cut off or the long vertical format 5 |

What a nice picture! We so often never see pictures of the baby flamingo...I really like the line my eye follows...starting with the mother then traveling to and through the baby...just a very nice composition...well done! |

Wow, I've never seen a baby flamingo - thanks for showing me! I like the contrast of the mother's and baby's colors and how you chose only to show a little bit of the mother. I'd like to see how this looks cropped a little more in the left so that only her neck shows but then it would probably be too tight on the baby. |

Amazing photo. I love flamingos. But this photo has so much more in it!
Simply wonderful!
On a technical note, I would try adding a little more contrast to this photo, to make the whites whiter. But even as it is I just love this photo! 9 |

great technique. I might have cropped down to just the faces to keep the background uniform. But perhaps that rock area under the baby's head would have made that look weird. -6 |

A lot of other famingos but none tell a story like this one. It's not the picture (although it is perfect in every sense, it's all in the story and words could'nt describle it like this pic does ... SUPER! 10+ |

I love how the mother and baby bird form one continuous curve. That really makes this a great shot. I think that the background would be better if there was nothing close behind the bird, so that the background became just a blur, but I'm sure there was nothing you could have done about that! Nice shot! |

The composition of this picture is outstanding. The contrast in colors against the rocks almost makes this look 3D ish. Very nice job. 10 |
