Well, my flag photo is facing the "wrong" way too ... they DO make it with two sides.
When possible, it is desirable to have the Union (the blue block with the stars) in the upper-left as you view the photo; it depends on the circumstances of the photo-op as to whether that's possible.
You could violate "journalistic integrity" by flipping the shot though, I've dont that with one of my prints. It all depends on whether you prefer depicting the sun setting in the East ...
Please refrain from name-calling in the comments. Your opinion of the photo is welcome, your opinion of the photographer is less so .... |

Well, until you can tell God which way to make the wind blow, keep the crap that has little to do with photography, and more to do with your own inadequecies off peoples pictures. |

You don't think before you speak very often do you? If you like the picture, great! If not, leave some constructive criticism. But watch who you are calling anti-patriotic. ESPECIALLY, when you know nothing about the photographer. It only makes you look like a prick. |

I would have widened it a little - tried to get the whole flag and more of the flag pole. Might also work to crop in tight to the sun spot as well. Just some ideas. |
