Technically a terrific photo. I can feel the sand. Since one can't watch erosion, I would have liked to see some other point of interest in the photo. Maybe a distant boat on the horizen, a far away bird. Then again, maybe you didn't want that distraction from your theme. Nice photo, good luck in this challenge!

Well, the lighting is cool. Its just not being lit from the back. Looks like it directly overhead...too bad you couldnt wait until sundown...that woudl have been cool

Too much frontal lighting ruins any backlighting effect.
