The shadow on the leaves really make this image interesting. The dark line behind the image is distracting. I'd clone out or move the black line. I also personally prefer brighter green in the leaf. But I'm fond of overly colorful images.
The shot demonstrates the concept of backlighting well, but there's nothing else to the image. Because of time of day, the shot looks a smidge washed out. The addition of another element (bug on leaf?) would help move this from a solid technical image to something with a bit more umph.
In voting I'd have done a 4/5 depending on what else I'd seen during voting. |

| Nicely done. My eyes travelled around for quite a while. Soft background is a good contrast. |

| Crisp and clear, but the shadows are SO harsh that it's distracting. At first it looks like the leaf on the right is in front of the main leaf. |
