The Minster at Christmasby SaraRComment: I love the intention and the reflection but the twisted POV is a problem for me - I think this would do a lot better with some levelling. The lighting, exposure, content are all interesting with great lines and detail..but the skew is just too overpowering for me. |

Monte de Espuma by thegrandwazooComment: I know this is a night shot, but how did you manage to shoot a 5.5 minute exposure wide open at 400 ISO and not overexpose? Did you use a neutral density on your lens or was this just the ideal exposure time for the lighting levels at the scene? Thanks! N |

RR Xingby JuliBocComment: I think it's the vertical line of the lights/signal that breaks the perspective line of the train that causes some viewer 'discomfort', particularly because it's in the central foreground. It's a lovely shot, but if I try to imagine the same shot with the lights but without half of the central pillar I think it would have been nicer. Not saying you should clone it out or mess with it, just trying to help provide an explanation as to why it might not have been as well received as you expected. |

Weather Forecast - Sunny but cloudy! by andrewtComment: Grats on the ribbon - well deserved. And thank you for showing how you did it - I was totally perplexed by it and couldn't work out how that could be done in one shot! :) Happy New Year to you too |

Go on, have a bite dearie...by aimeethetooComment: You definitely should have ribboned with this shot - if it hadn't been for the 24 people that voted this image 5 or less (which is completely unreasonable under any circumstance or opinion) then it probably would have. Gonna favourite it now just to prove a point! FWIW I voted this a 10. |

Carefreeby JasComment: Excellent work! Brilliant perspective, I love the model's look of joy, the snow angel symmetry and the simple colours. Also a great title for your image. Fantastic - 9. |

The Lost Journeyby EpirusCreationsComment: There's something beautifully haunting about this image. I'm not a fan of the colour palette/toning though - might look better in b&w? |
