i spent alot of time outside that night. i think this was one of the last shots that i did. i didn't take the time to straighten out the tripod and make sure it was level... and on top of that it was super cold outside, and i just ready to go home and get some hot chocolate, a piece of cake, and some sleep...this is the first photo i have uploaded, and i'm glad that so manny of you gave input.
thanks to everyone.
the very next day i showed a really good friend of mine the picture on this. i just uploaded it to the site in great haste. all i did was resize it from a 2 meg file to a smaller one that would be excepted. when i showed it to my friend, he grabbed it w/ his mac, and turned it ever so slightly. i e-mailed to myself, and posting it on here
it does look a ton better. and i'm looking forward to posting alot more pictures on this site. as a new year resolution i have decided to try to check this site every day, and also take at least 20 photos everyday.
i'll upload to as many open challenges as possible. |

Nice reflections, but I wish it was straight.
That lean isn't enough to be "artistic", but plenty enough to be very distracting. |

you should try to level the buildings so they are not tilted |

Nice image......a little trouble with the horizon? |

Needs straightening, unless the sliding downhill to the left was intentional. Otherwise, a decent night shot. Building on left is a bit dark, and the white building just jumps out and almost overpowers the scene. |

This photo has alot of wonderful potential. Unfortunately my eye can not move past the tilted horizon. |

Crooked horizon is a bit distracting, but nice focus and reflections. |

This has a nice exposure for the lights and the reflections. Unfortunately, the horizon is slightly tilted, which normally might be hard to notice but, in this case, the tall buildings and their reflections are positioned to exaggerate the impact. Just a tiny rotation (allowed in basic editing rules) might have allowed a higher score. |

had potential, buildings are crooked, looks off balanced with open space in between buildings. |

The angle is a bit tilted. It kind of throws me a bit, distracting because of it's slightness. |

cool shot, I like how it's a bit off kilter, makes the photo a bit more dynamic. well done! |

Nice mirror shot. Too bad it's tilted. Also I think the middle looks too empty. |

Is it supposed to be tilted? |

You should fix the horizon on this pic. Not hard to do and would improve this considerably. |

Great night capture, but it appears quite tilted. |

Would be a much better shot if the horizon was levelled off |

I don't really see the hidden perspective on this city, but it's a nice night scene. |

Good color! Would probably track higher if it were straighter! :( |

Good idea but the crooked horizon line is a major distraction. |

The angle is very annoying. Otherwise a nice shot. |

I am puzzled as to the reason not to straighten this photo....hmmmm. |
