Still beat my eggs with the old wire whisk by IreneMComment: This is a fabulous shot but I really don't want to sound like a DNMC hater but this really does feel like a shoehorn. Maybe I don't spend enough time in the kitchen but doesn't everyone still use a wire whisk to beat eggs?! It just doesn't feel like 'old ways' enough to me. It's a great image and it's hard to mark you down for it, but I have to do a -1 out of respect to all the others that seem better interpreted imho Brilliant shot in every other respect. |

Untitledby Rachel53Comment: Didn't I just see a shot of this very same cello body elsewhere in this challenge? |

Hash Brownsby GeneralEComment: Errrr...good luck with this one! Are you troll baiting, or is this a genuine entry because I'm confused. Surely you know that the presumed subject 'hash browns' are totally out of focus and unrecognisable. Even if you knew that, this doesn't seem very Old Ways either. Or maybe this is your proudest shot ever and I'm missing the point. Yours in a totally-lost-but-trying-to-be-constructive way, Quasi ;) |

Somebody Please Helpby fuzzytComment: I love this shot. Her expression is priceless and really conveys 'where the heck does this go?'. The composition is great but the post production (or apparent lack thereof) lets it down. With a little work on the contrast, grain and levels I think this photo could really stand out. |

Groovin', Baby!by mgsmith53Comment: I love the simplicity, and the way you've added variation in the gels on the lights. Lovely shot. |

the Good ol' Daysby LaMasComment: Beautifully composed shot. Feels fisheyed, which really adds to the perspective. I'm not a big fan of the toning - the toning adds to the old factor but is just a tad too strong imho. |

untitledby nabuslComment: It's a shame the image is so small when you've got 640 to play with because I really like the image of the roller skate with the foot skeleton, but the size lessens the impact. |
