Go on, have a bite dearie...by aimeethetooComment: I love this shot. The lighting is fantastic. The pop of the eyes is excellent, the bright spot on the apple is wonderful. The shadows on the left side (her right) again right on the mark. The only thing that I see that I am not sure about is the dark spot on the nose. My guess is that is supposed to be a hairy wart, but it steals my attention more than it adds to the shot. Still a spectacular shot and wart or no it does not impact my excellent score on this wonderful shot. |

The Dark Figure at the Gateby skewsmeComment: I have a couple of things on this one. The PP leaves me with a very undefined metal gate. The tree right in front of the gate the looks very over processed for my taste. I love post processing, but this shot falls in between two things for me. If you go to big PP I can love that if the whole image is processed in that way, but the foreground character is not processed in the same way and that leaves me without continuity. |

Mirror Mirrorby TiNComment: I like the set up and idea of the shot! I really like the lighting on the model's hand. That being said the lighting also seems to have taken the candle completely out of the shot for me. The image still scores well from me, but that would be my only area to take a look at. |

Straight to Grandma's house...and no picking flowers!by ullageComment: I like this shot a great deal. Nice wide angle look, and the misty/foggy look is excellent. Use of the path to draw the eye through the shot is wonderful for the shot and the foreground elements frame the shot up very very well. Great shot! |

When the Clock Strikesby HighNoonerComment: I really like the novelty of the shot. The shadow play adds interest and makes the image stick out. I would be curious what the shot would look like if there were equal lighting on both sides. |

Hansel and Gretel's First Journey Home, before the whole breadcrumb and oven debacle...by xianartComment: Ok, I admit I don't get the title at all. That being said my score isn't based upon MY understanding. My score is based upon the shot. I like the portrait orientation, and the way you have used DOF background blur. The light at the top of the shot adds interest for me and while I am sure there will be those that mark you down for challenge relevance, but for me the shot stands on its own. Very nice shot. |

Non-Fatteningby CJinCAComment: I like this capture. My biggest issue with this one is the lighting. I like the lighting on the main piece falling, but the impact of that lighting is that the reflection in the bowl is instantly distracting, and the popcorn in the bowl is lost as it is much less sharp than the rest of the image. Still solid shot and I like the thought process on the shot. |

Fresh Movie Popcornby AbstractComment: I really like this shot. The admit tickets look a bit hokey for my personal taste, but the composition, and lighting are just excellent. Very solid shot. Technical side I just think it is a very solid shot. I probably won't jump off the page on the voting scale because it doesn't have the "wow" factor, but the solid shot is a big plus from me. |
