To Bee or not to Beeby LenComment: I think this photo could be improved by setting it in the outdoors, in nature, and by making sure that the bee is in focus. Otherwise, I commend you for being able to get so close to a bee....even if this was taken with a 200mm I wouldn't want to be that close... :) |

After having done some research on the genre I noticed that many of the photos (particularly the portraits) had a characteristically soft focus to them.I tried to keep that in mind when taking the photo. |
