Nice composition and you have separated your subject from the backgruond nicely. Overall it lacks sharpness to make it a much better image. |

I think this photo could be improved by setting it in the outdoors, in nature, and by making sure that the bee is in focus. Otherwise, I commend you for being able to get so close to a bee....even if this was taken with a 200mm I wouldn't want to be that close... :) |

Seems like a nice shot - you should've posted at the full allowed resolution for 800px a side. I'm afraid, you might take a hammering in votes for the low resolution. Usually when I want to do it, it's because I want to cover up some defect that's apparent at a bigger resolution, in which case, I just chose to not submit it.
The perfect black background is awesome and contrasts well with the subtle green and yellow of the flower. Good luck! |
