painby dhareComment: An excellent example of the lengths we will go to to meet challenges :) - not suggesting you set it up purposely but I recall a similar photo I took of my now 30 yrd old brother when he fell off his bike when he was 5 (though of course I did eventually help him up). Still one of the best mono shots I've taken. |

Seeking stillness, her index finger strikesby dasserComment: Originally posted by adigitalromance: "Where is the finger?" ?? Haha, sorry about that comment. Some people don't get it. Maybe they aren't ..a.. photgrapher? |
I know I didn't get that one either :) thanks for the faith in the photo - I'm not usually a grumbler about scores but really thought it was worth more than a 5.86 in this challenge Message edited by author 2011-07-13 02:52:08. |

Final lick of paintby dasserComment: Thanks all - it's a picture of a swinging bridge they're building there and this was taken around 4ish I guess when the UK sun was already dropping low in the sky.
I take the point about the too tight crop at the top but I didn't have much room to play with. Also the point about using mono instead - I did toy with the idea and maybe should have gone that way.
Anyhow, on another note this was the only shot where the painters lined up in an interesting arrangement - every other shot was juts arms and legs poking out of the poles! |

Lasssst tram homeby dasserComment: Many thanks - was great fun to do - I didn't really see the potential in it until I noticed it was quite dark when converted to mono. It was actually taken in the daytime but I just accentuated the darkness selectively and lightened the driver using the dodge tool. Cheers for the posthumous ribbon!
