Excellent capture - Is this what we call a Goldcrest here in the UK? |

Looks like an illustration from an old ornithology text. |

I love the high key look of this and the tinges of green and yellow. Excellent photo!! The frame is nice too. |

Great detail on the tree bark. A little softer on the bird's breast feathers. Trying to figure out why this shot looks as if it has had the BG masked out. Unusual pure white BG. |

Oh this is darling. I think I'd get rid of all of the borders, to make the whole image larger. Adorable bird. Love the high contrast. |

Nice job isolating the main subject; very oriental looking |

I like the image and the processing. The border takes up too much of the 800 pixels that you have to work with. For me it would have been fine with a single black line as the border. Still a 7 |

I love the comp and detail. Going with the benefit of the doubt and hope that you didn't remove the background. WAY cool if you shot it this way! |

I love the colors and the composition of this shot. The greens, yellows and browns of the tree and bird really pops off the plan white backdrop - makes me think of the first blush of spring. Love how you composed/captured the shot with the bird centered in the natural triangle shaped frame that is the branches of this tree. Also great capture that you caught this bird with a seed/food in it's beak - nice bit of added visual interest. My only critique is that the frame of the image is so big that it engulfs the image - I think the image is strong enough to stand out on it's own with little to no border. |
