 This is a new footbridge that is being built on a floating raft in the middle of Salford quays nr Manchester. I was waiting for these guys to be silhouetted and it didn't work out too badly, with the effect increased by a slight levels adjustment.

Thanks all - it's a picture of a swinging bridge they're building there and this was taken around 4ish I guess when the UK sun was already dropping low in the sky.

I take the point about the too tight crop at the top but I didn't have much room to play with. Also the point about using mono instead - I did toy with the idea and maybe should have gone that way.

Anyhow, on another note this was the only shot where the painters lined up in an interesting arrangement - every other shot was juts arms and legs poking out of the poles!

Nice effective use of the diagonal line, crop a bit tight at the top, but good overall look.
