Enduresby posthumousComment: Hello Chief how's it going? I liked your shot in voting and have done the same thing you did when I got my new glass last year. I was able to bring up out the bokeh a lot by adjusting the exposure and saturation as well as the blacks and found the shot had more pop to it. That's what I thought was missing from this shot was the enhanced background. Otherwise as I first said I liked your photo.
All the best to you and yours.

A memory of moonlight (and of tangled love)by Bear_MusicComment: Hey Robert, I have to be honest with you and tell you that I gave this shot a 3. Although it fit the challenge as being life I couldn't see the relevance of the title in relation to the shot. (that's not why I voted it a 3) I found it hard to relate to your shot on a creative level. Not only did it not hold my interest but I found it to be something of a snap shot and it lacked focus and composition.
That was my initial reaction to your shot. Now, that being said and now knowing that it was a lens baby shot, I'm able to see the photographic merit to your entry. If only we knew this during the voting I think the outcome would have been different.
All the best to you and yours.

... is laughterby timfythetooComment: Now this little one is no stranger to this site and has garnered his fare share of ribbons for his parents, but this time, if I had to guess as to which one I would go with Mom aimeethetoo and I have to say that this is a fantastic shot as always.
Best of luck :)

Sorry about the mix up Tim I meant to put Aimee not Lydia. I hope this removes the confusion I caused in your home :)

Hot Dice by IreneMComment: OK you, CONGRATULATIONS on your 40th ribbon and now that you have twice as many ribbons as your age don't you think it's time to let someone else get a few?
WOW 40 ribbons you must be grinning like a fool right now.
I do hope to see many more ribbons come your way and I do wish you all the best. You have so much talent and I'm glad your sharing it with us.
Thank you Irene for all the wonderful images you have given us over the years :)
All the best to you and yours.

Captured by heavyjComment: Congratulations Jason on your first ribbon. I'm sure there are many more in your future. Great photo. You did a great job of finding something uniquely different to submit for this challenge that totally meets the definition of unlucky, from the point of view of the orangutan. It would truly be unlucky to be captured and not in the wild for her I would think.
All the best to you and yours.
