I'm rather surprised, Tim. Got a 7 from me. I like it. :~) |

I hope this was not marked down because people recognized Aidan. It's a beautiful shot and obviously an unposed moment. Another wonderful shot for the family collection! |

You are correct. Maybe that's why I feel dead half the time. I know, I'll go look at my entries score: that will make me laugh! The composition and the conversion look very nice as well as your focus. |

Now this little one is no stranger to this site and has garnered his fare share of ribbons for his parents, but this time, if I had to guess as to which one I would go with Mom aimeethetoo and I have to say that this is a fantastic shot as always.
Best of luck :)
MAX!
Sorry about the mix up Tim I meant to put Aimee not Lydia. I hope this removes the confusion I caused in your home :)

Nice capture of the smile, but I think the depth of field is a little too shallow. |

I love the shallow DOF. Looks like the processing is a bit clumsy at the top left, but I might be wrong, and it's nit-picking regardless. Well done - 7 |

This is a lovely shot. Good focus on the eye and some nice tones... I do however feel that the focus and blur on the mouth is too distracting though. I would have cropped just above the eyebrows too. |

This is lovely. Usually a chopped off chin is a big no no, but this is wonderful and the narrow DOF is terrific. |

The emotion shown here is fantastic, love the crop, the weakness (IMHO) is that the DOF is a tad too shallow & the sharpes focus (eye/eyelid) is just not crisp enough. 6 |

I think the innocence of this photo shows me the best parts of life. |
