Hey Robert, I have to be honest with you and tell you that I gave this shot a 3. Although it fit the challenge as being life I couldn't see the relevance of the title in relation to the shot. (that's not why I voted it a 3) I found it hard to relate to your shot on a creative level. Not only did it not hold my interest but I found it to be something of a snap shot and it lacked focus and composition.
That was my initial reaction to your shot. Now, that being said and now knowing that it was a lens baby shot, I'm able to see the photographic merit to your entry. If only we knew this during the voting I think the outcome would have been different.

| A nice abstract, but a bit too blurry and not enough colour - the green and white don't seem to carry the shot well enough. |
