Civic Del Sol Collageby BradComment: Okay I have been waiting todo this one. Due to the nature of the photo I will have to leave comments 3 things: Car Model, The car itself, and the photo's of course.
Im not a huge fan of the Civic Del Sol, I would rather have the 90-91 or an updated 88-89 CRX. In respect to that they are about the same size Im not sure how the air flow on the back of the Del Sol is due to the lack of a rear window. I like the slide down rear glass and of course the targa top. The headlights look so girly although I saw a JDM Integra bumper and headlights grafted onto one. The tailights really dont get me either and on a street car i would graft in full civic lamps or something. Its a shame the S2000 didnt exist back then its more like my Austin Healey.
Yeah removing the spare axles might help. The rear spoiler loooks familiar wings west or something. They might also give though to changing out to a single F1 style mirror if the car isnt running in a street legal class or isnt street legal itself. Have to love the drag slicks on FWD cars, but what i noticed is the rear wheels look like steel spares. IF their steel might consider an open aluminum drag lite rim. Not sure if it needs the heavier rim for stability but since it is not a drive wheel i guess rotational weight doesnt matter. LS block is a B18C1 right? I forget dont subscribe to honda tuning anymore and except for 2 friends i wrenched for all my work was in one car and it was a Toyota.
As for the photos what can I say? Props on using the 1.2 MP Mavica I imagine the compression on those cameras was a bit much not sure how you get more then 2 photos on a floppy disc. My 1.3 MP Pen can I used a 128mb card in and still didnt get much. Nice Collage you put together. |

Car runs a mild cam something near to what they call radical. During downshifting the exhaust valves will open during combustion and the flames will blow out of the tail pipe.
I hope to get a few captures like this later on. |

cadillacby arsenalComment: You have a tendency todo a lot fo HDRand this is a nice example. The front door paint doesnt seem to benifit well but with metallic paints ive noticed ata distance the paint doesnt look right at some angles anyways.
I think it would be really cool if the Hood ornament background could look like it was a part of the road. |

Mosaic Tile Carby LeeDComment: Im not 100% sure what this is looks familiar and definatly european. Has hints of Triumph and an MGB and this and that I cant quite pin it down. Cute design and even the tires are painted on the treads. Appears the car is slightly off the ground.
Not much can be done to the image movign the beamer and what ever is off to the left. If the steering rack still turns I would turn the rim to face thr camera and maybe move the camera slightly to the left. |

red.jpgby hyperfocalComment: Truck would have to be nissan or maybe a toyota. Popular back then non the less. You say your an avid environmentalist. What has changed now you would take the VW with you to a proper disposal facility? I mean really how much erosion are you worried about?
Pretty cool for a self portrait easy setup but you said its like 88 or 89, So it would end up being a film camera. Nice shot all together but i mean come on a sunken fender? You got sumothing to prove get a little more under the tire. |

Starfireby TuckersmomComment: Well this one is a bit blown and just bright. Typically its the camera trying to get both ends of the range and thats why camera's blow. Even with editing its hard to pull anything out of the highlights. If shooting for this particular image EV -1 and then use photoshop to pull details out of the shadows to compensate. More can be pulled out of shadows then highlights. |

Fordby TuckersmomComment: Out of the 3 im commenting on this is the best. Once again as with other users your working with a nice tight crop. I myself have trouble with these not sure what to cut out hate to cut anything out. At car shows its hard to get stuff out of the way. At first glance you dont think about it and until you see the reflection you dont notice the left side of the photo has been cut out or burned. Nothing wrong with it at all.
A black sheet in the background would have masked out some of the reflections well but no need for the horizon line it creates as the trees do a good enough job. |

Sallyby AliciaComment: Looks like someone was playing with a bit of HDR. If so its clean and good not overprocessed like some. Im having a hard time telling if this is a V6 or a GT. My guess is on the V6 but without seeing more or atleast the rear its hard to tell. The crops a bit weird cuts off the car. Im sure their is a good reason and it looked better.
I can see your reflection in the headlight. |
