Shore Breakby rider808Comment: A stunning image, I love the way you have captured the wave in mid curve. Lovely colours and sharpness. I have to be honest and say 'harsh environment' is not the first thing that springs to mind when I see this...but outstanding photo is |

Sunset at Joshua Tree NPby mirdonamyComment: Excellent shot of a barren piece of land. really glad that you did not go for the obvious and make it an image of just scrubland as this shows one things harsh environment is anothers bearable environment. The nuted colours accentuate the dust and heat well |

“A Harsh Reality”by Dirt_DiverComment: I really like this shot in terms of the challenge (even if as I suspect it is set up) great visual interpretation of how even small changes can have a huge impact on a living things environment. Very clever |

No Peekby colorcarnivalComment: Ahhh well thats the way it goes isnt it....The shots we love can bomb and the ones for which we have no expectations end up finishing 23rd with a 6+
Very nice study and a great B&W conversion. Outstanding detail on the body which creates a great textured feel to the shot
Nice one |

Emergence by SandyPComment: Yaaaaaaaaaaay
Well I wont comment on the picture itself as I did that during the challenge. What I will say though is
1. Congratulations on the blue and the high score
2. Your shots are fantastic, so for you to set a PB you have to realise that you have an image here which would grace any wall, publication or gallery
Simply brilliant

Smog and Fog of San Franciscoby signal2noiseComment: Wow, definitely my favourite in this challenge. It takes a hell of a photographer to make smog look beautiful but you have managed it. Beautiful gradiated colours |

Emergence by SandyPComment: One of my three favourites in the challenge. Brilliant capture, especially having your subject looking directly at the camera in the way it is. Amazing range of greens and the sharpmess on both the eyes above the water and the body beneath it (which does not suffer from any refraction issues) is outstanding

Peakedby ImagineerComment: A simply stunning photograph and certainly one of my three favourites in the challenge. There is both a wonderful sense of serenity and power in the image and the crispness of the focus and the colours are sublime.
