Well I have to say I cant believe that this shot 'only' came 40th (which is good but not as good as it should have been) and as for scoring sub 6, well words fail me
Just wanted to say thank you for sharing the image, also I hope it is OK but I have mention it in the posthumous ribbons of the week thread

A simply stunning photograph and certainly one of my three favourites in the challenge. There is both a wonderful sense of serenity and power in the image and the crispness of the focus and the colours are sublime.

| You know, this is the third time I've looked at this shot in the challenge...and my first impression is still my overwhelming opinion. This is a majestic, well shot picture. I think it captures the theme beautifully. My only suggestion is to crop about half of the black at the top. |
