Love the black and white! I really like how you have all tones in this image from very bright white to completely black. That's what a true black and white photo is. This is almost a complete silhouette image which I really like. Just enough detail in the water to keep your interest along with the very nice silhouette look. Love that you used the rule of thirds for the boat and put the horizon just about in the middle. I'm sure you will also have some that don't like the frame but I like it very much. I probably wouldn't like the frame on a color version of this but I think it really adds to this B&W version.

I really like the shadow play in this shot. Very nice how it uses a natural gradient fade from black. Very enchanting I think. I could definatly see this in a travel guide for a City or State. Good luck with the challenge!!!

Very nice capture. Looks like a storm is coming. I really like how the sail is set in the darker part of the photo making it stand out against the dark clouds. I like the color tome of this photo and that there is a strongly defined horizon. Good luck with the challenge!!!
