 My blonde archtop and friends flattop.

I am on cloud 9. There were two difficult parts in this shot, the lighting and the resizing. I used a single light source and getting enough the light on both of the guitars without getting shadows and reflections was pretty hard. I also did not want light into the F hole of the blond guitar. In the resizing part I had trouble with jagged edges in the fine black and white lines, I had to shoot very tight and take care in every step of the post processing which was rather basic:
USM (very little because it makes jagged edges)

Til hamingju, fyllilega verðskuldað. Ãg gaf henni einmitt 9 í einkunn, mér fannst hún ekki alveg fullkomin en mjög nálægt því en tvímælalaust 10 í mínum bókum miðað við margar aðrar myndir í þessari keppni.

Probably the strongest composition of the bunch - very classic use of lines. Colors are great and exposed perfectly. Black background is also incredible. Border is effective. Top 10.

Returning for comment: a personal favorite of mine! The point of view is amazing and the colors and shapes make me feel real good.

At first I tried to point all the things that I liked in this picture, but it turned out to be about everything. Definately one of the top 3 for me!

The genius in this photo is evident. I love the "sunset" feel.. the landscape feel.. that you've generated from a simple object. Lighting is fantastic, composition is strong and flowing, and the border is actually not distracting. One of the best I've seen.
