While different, I don't like the unnatural light catch in the eyes. I do however really like the nice even skin tones framed by the deep blacks. I just personally would have liked it better with a more natural catch light. Good luck with the challenge!!!

I like the idea here but as a spectator it leaves me to wonder, what in the world is he hanging on to (Yes, I know what he is hanging on to)? I would have maybe liked to have seen this photo taken at a wider angle possibly displaying the entire get-up. I'm assuming the kite or chute would have had some nice colors in it.(?) I really like and enjoy looking at the photograph. I really like the head on angle with the animal. The only complaint I would have is that on my screen at least (LCD) it appears to be over-sharpened and in my opinion that detract from it's appeal just a bit. Most notable I think in the background of the photo. Good luck with the challenge!!!

My personal preference with this image would have been to have seen this executed at a wider angle revealing more of the gun barrels and action. I feel that the main character of this photograph is the older gentleman in the foreground, would have at minimum been nice to have been able to see his gun barrel flash. Wider angle may have also made this shot a little less busy. Good luck with the challenge!!!

Very nice idea... I would have just liked the veil to be a tad bit more translucent so that at first glance it doesn't just look like a band of white with a chin sticking out from it. Good luck with the challenge!

IMO, This is for sure the first place winner in this challenge... Congratulations! It's an awesome shot. It's a photo that you can just stare at and keep finding new features the longer you look. Very interesting and I love the tones and contrast.
