Green Eggs And Ham

I actually tried to make the ham and eggs green a number of different ways with no luck and finally got the idea to paint the food dye on. I'm not sure what you mean about the yolk turning see-through, but basically I poached two eggs and used a tiny paintbrush with food coloring to paint the color on. Same goes for the ham, but that was definitely a lot easier haha.

Ahhh! I was so upset with this picture. We had guests at our house the day the challenge ended and I hadn't done my picture in advance so I ended up taking it the night it was due. Unfortunately, in my haste to get the photo in on time (I got it on my computer around 11:57pm) I submitted the WRONG picture and left my beautiful creamy dark chocolate picture on my computer desktop.... I had been playing around with a few ideas and took a ton of "tester shots" to see what different things would look like on the computer, and of course I submitted one of the worst versions. I got so many comments about how bad the lighting was and I just wanted to say "I know! I agree! Wrong picture!!" but I guess that's just how it goes. Oh well...

I think this is an interesting idea and I like how sharp you got the magnifying glass to be... I think the only problem is that it doesn't really make sense why you're using a magnifying glass about 5 feet away from a beach towel. I think this picture might have made more sense had you used say, a newspaper out of focus in the background or a book or anything small like that. That aside, I really do like the idea and the picture a lot!
