I actually tried to make the ham and eggs green a number of different ways with no luck and finally got the idea to paint the food dye on. I'm not sure what you mean about the yolk turning see-through, but basically I poached two eggs and used a tiny paintbrush with food coloring to paint the color on. Same goes for the ham, but that was definitely a lot easier haha. |

Never seen eggwhites with that texture, also never heard of yolk turning seethrough by adding colour to it. Seems to me that it's mayonaise and yello. As for the ham I can't really figure it out, but reminds me of a pancake with a thin layer of yello on top.
Not saying you didn't use food dye on eggs and ham as you claim, but those are some odd eggs. I smell fish!

Personally, i am not a fan of the egg yolk being green. But it's a nice study and good experiment. I feel the plate should have been there fully, instead of getting cropped. |
