 Shot of a small weed in front of the morning sun about 3-4 m away from the camera . A dark vertical line on the right side of the sun is an electric pole which I couldn't avoid.

This photo is inspired by a picture I saw a long time ago at www.photo.net. Unfortunately, I am not able to find the link again.

Post processing: Cropped at around 80-90 percent of the full frame. Adjustment layers: Curve, Hue and Saturation; Noise Ninja

Clever use of bokeh. Everyone else has gone for little points of light - you've chosen a large orb of light. I think it works brilliantly with the minimalist composition. Nice sharpness on the main subject too.

Very well done. I love the composition. I love the colors. The focuse is tac sharp. So based on both technical and artistic merits you must be presented with a 10 ( let me tell you I did not give many of those out in this challenge)

this looks almost too good to be real. Very cool bokeh of the sun! even though the subject is more of a shadow than a foreground per se, the foreground is a shadow! cool!
