Olive Frunaceby rioloboComment: Interesting. Good idea and is desolation but I can't find a spot that my eye wants to rest on. The cropping seems a bit aggressive. You could try putting the center of the tunnel into a golden ratio type composition. The colors don't work for me - Seems like afternoon sun and everything is washed out. 5 |

The desolated mountainby KrisbyComment: The mountain is deserted but not desolate because there is no misery involved. Its very pretty but not quite desolation. I love how the colors reflect off the bottom of the clouds. 6 |

Extinguished!by AzCKellyComment: Cool - nice focus and exposure. The candleholder being partly in the frame is distracting. and it seems a little too cropped on the right. Its doesn't really connotate desolation though. 6 |
