Just for the sake of composition, giving you 8/8. Why didn't you run away, and capture the whole procession??? It couldhave been a great pic.
However, the composition is great, but for Christ's sake, dont use christ, as your subject again...

| 04/25/2006 09:16:24 AM | Anchor for our faith?by JohannesFrankComment: Wow, boss! Your pic is simply sensational. Mesmerizing and hypnotizing and is perhaps, better than many pics, taken by the great photographer, Henri Cartier Bresson. Hats off to you, and hats of to the great Bresson, without whom, the world of photography could have been quite different.
This pic is a time-machine, and will take you back to the past, but, however, was there any chance, to avoid the disturbing elements to the left of the pic, which is, perhaps a distant building?
My best wishes are always for you.
Stay well, and do continue this great work,
Soham [India]

| 04/13/2006 08:49:54 AM | Rejoice by cabaComment: Today, even a beginner can take professional quality pictures, with correct exposures, meterings, etc. However, this is not totally true.
Anybody can buy a sophisticated camera and take pro-quality pics, but the difference between two photographers, or more perticularly, two images, of the same shot lies in the eyes of the photographers. Composition is the key to ones success these days, as Adobe Photoshop and other softwares cannot compose the images also!
Bravo to the great photographer. Even a few pics of Cecil Beaton has failed to satisfy me recently, but this pic, indeed managed to satisfy me. Ahh...what freshness! My best wishes for you. | Photographer found comment helpful. |
