Side Houseby jdannelsComment: Excellent crop emphasizing that sky. It really gives a dynamic feel to an image which is otherwise anything but. My only nitpick is that the cacti seem a bit soft and could use more bite. |

Day 1 - Where I Workby SweetlittlepixieComment: Well composed shot. Working on children is always a challenge. At least they're better off after visiting you than they were before, even if they may not be inclined to see it that way right away. |

Museum.JPGby RetroesqueComment: Nice perspective. I have to agree with the others that the color balance is off. Seems to be a bit too yellow. It works OK on the concrete and glass, but when something that you "know" the color of, like the sky, is off, it's really disconcerting. |

PlaneSunSetby AliciaComment: Very nice colors. I think the cropped version definitely works better though. |

Day 1by karmatComment: Very nice B&W conversion. I remember that smell well from driving through Georgia in the late 70's and early 80's visiting my grandparents in Florida. |

Day one - Coal Countryby xXxscarletxXxComment: Nice use of leading lines to draw the eye into the shot. I'm not a huge fan of selective desaturations, though this one is well done, but I'm obviously very much in the minority here. |

Feb 1 my favorite tree.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Well done fog shot. I have to agree about the fence distracting from the tree though. Maybe if it ran from corner to corner it would work better to keep the eye in the photo rather than pulling it away and out the bottom corner. |
