Oh how lovely......new kittens. What a slice of life, for all of us to be part of. Right now, as I type, my 3 yr old is on my lap, and asking me " Why is she fat? I wonder why there's baby kitties in her tummy?" She'd love to see any photos of the kittens, once all has settled down there.

This is lovely...emotive, and expressive........Katee's glee is there, for all to see........, with Sasha, bringing up the rear. The composite photo, which you've done with overlay techniques, is just so clever, I really must learn how. I've looked at your workflow, and while I have a vague idea of what youre doing, the finer points escape me........but that's why I'm here, to learn from you gurus.

Now, just when I've heaped praise on your other half, you go and upstage her (sorry!) with this stunner!.
This is blue ribbon stuff, on so many counts.

It's very good.....one of the better photographs from our side challenge so far, for sure....not just a 'slice of life', but a very effective and aesthetic picture. Muted pastel colours, good composition, interesting subject. If I may nitpick, I'd have preferred the focal point more off-center, to the bottom left junction of thirds perhaps.

I have to agree - I so wish you could take no tablets at all, but seeing as you do, you've been so creative, in making a clever and effective photo.

Point of color?

Nice picture.......looks like he could get mean, if provoked.

This is really nice....with the usual factors that seem to make for photographic success......ie simplicity, almost monochromatic colour, pattern, and interest. Have you used an overlayed texture, with peripheral vignette/diffusion? Did you desaturate, or alter the colour in any way?

Your story is heartwarming, honest, candid and lovely. The sentiment in the photo is just so lovely.........a 3 yr old's devotion for her dad.

Hmm.......now on a different monitor, it seems like it has a slight magenta cast.
Does anyone else see it? I have calibrated, with a spyder, but want to get colour management right.
