This is the home of another one of my neighbors.
It was a bit rainy this morning and the haze after it let up made for perfect spider web shooting conditions.

~Edit to add processing bits~

The actual color of the background was grass green and I adjusted to this bluish hue.

It was ran through an action that gave it the slightly textured surface and I also used a blur/vignette action. I purchased an action mix - Totally Rad Actions - a couple weeks ago and have used them quite a bit on both personal and client images. For me, they were worth the $$$.

Nice job on the processing. The dark blue background gives it a night time/eerie effect to it.

I love this picture. I am always wanting to catch a spider web with dew/raindrops on it. I have yet to get that lucky. This reminds me of strands of pearls. I like the blue background and the texture.

Your background texture works great with the droplets. Those actions looks really cool, thanks for posting the info.

I love the balance of the blur, the DOF, the color, the detail and the focused areas in this spider web.

This is really nice....with the usual factors that seem to make for photographic success......ie simplicity, almost monochromatic colour, pattern, and interest. Have you used an overlayed texture, with peripheral vignette/diffusion? Did you desaturate, or alter the colour in any way?

Wow, very pretty. It looks like strings of pearls. Did you put a texture overlay on the bkgrd?
