the focus, or lack there of, is very distracting, as well as the white strip on the left (crop), seems very pix-elated or over processed or something - not sure, but you're sure to get better - especially if this is the class you are in! Certainly meets the challenge - good job :)

Interesting shot, I really like the perspective with the slant and all - I think it would be even better slanted a little bit more. Nice use of B&W - I'd be curious to see it in color though, seems a bit dark - maybe brighten or gamma adjustment and a little more contrast ? Appears to be students at a University - so it certainly meets the challenge - good job :)

I have to assume that this is a University of some sort, I don't get the feel of "education" from looking at the image or the title, BUT - it's a very good night image - I can't take a pic at night and have it come out as nice as this :)

I usually like sepia toned images but for this particular one - I think I'd prefer it in color or B&W for some reason - as is it just seems a bit too orange and doesn't enhance the image by having this coloring choice. Love the title. It really shouts "education" in my opinion so it certainly meets the challenge - great job :)

I'd prefer less crop on the left and more on the right I think - composed a bit uneven in my opinion, focus could be a little better and it doesn't shout "education" like some of the other entries but it's a great action shot - good job :)

I think I'd prefer to see less crop on the left or more on the right so that the books are either continual from side to side or have space on both sides - as is, seems a bit awkwardly uneven, like the B&W but it seems a bit flat, my preference would have been to tweak up the black a little - or add some contrast, it seems kind of drab. I do think "education" when I look at this - so it certainly meets the challenge - good job :)

Without your title I don't view this image as having anything to do with "education". Nice looking fellow all spiffied up - and his expression makes it appear as he is a typical teen posing for yet another photo. Nice use of B&W and lighting, nice crop and overall composition. I like his pose or body language with the hands held and head tilted and the stairs with railing - overall a really nice image - good job :)
