You managed a really good exposure on the sky. Great contrasting colours. My only qualm is the little black knotted thing. It destracts the eye away from the main subject, although I'm not sure how this image would work without it since it almost seems to keep the eye from sliding off the image when following the lines.

Bunched Pencils

Interesting subject, but the focus could be tighter. And if we could get even closer to the pencil tips, that would be even cooler.
I would be careful about using the pencil with the arrows though. The arrows lead the eye away from the main subject and off the image completely. Not exactly what you were going for I presume.
Nice background though. You did get some interesting colour there.

I really like the post-it note with the question mark, but I'm not too sure about the pen (which kinda seems to be floating in black) and I definately am not a fan of the woodgrain as the background.

Very heavily center weighted. I might have tried moving the background farther away from the subject in order for it to blur a little more outside the dof, and brought the pens all completely into focus. A little more light on the pens would have helped them pop a little more as well. For this type of "stock" photography, I would encourage you too look at different office product catalogs to see how they compose images of writing instruments, etc.

I like this image, even though the imediate forground is out of focus. There is something captivating about the shapes in this image. Composed and balanced very nicely.
