The Gambit (on glass chess board)by oniComment: Subtle reflection, but it's there! This is visually appealing. I like the position and angle that you shot this at also. The background/reflective surface works quite well - kind of like a black hole... - JB |

Window on Sleeping Suburbiaby DougPazComment: I like this picture... even though it appears that you were forced to shoot out the window at that angle, it works good for this picture. Very interesting perspective, and a nice portrayal of what your corner of the world is. 8 - JB |

Corner? My whole world...by myqylComment: Very nice photograph. Technically, could be improved... the little girl seems to have moved on you a bit :) The color seems to be a bit flat. The crop seems to be a hair tight on the right hand side? As far as content, a definite 10... It's pleasing to see that instead of trying to find a smart, clever shot for this challenege, somebody just used the basics of what their life REALLY is... Congrats! - JB |

Where The Buffalo Roam (Wyoming)by SonifoComment: Wow... That's awesome that you were able to capture this. The picture, in it's entirety works very well. I like the first buffalo being as close as it is - you can imagine the size of the animal... But the rest of the picture makes you realize just how "small" it really is :) Very nice shot... 8 - JB |

My Whole World in a Cornerby lmhrComment: Visually appealing photograph - the color of the wall works well with the skintones on the child. He did a good job of keeping his eyes off of the camera and focused on the corner. 7 - JB |

My city of lightsby nbortonComment: Nice shot! I can't quite figure out where you are from... but can definitely tell that it's a busy city, even after dark. You picked a great location to shoot from - you're not dead on with the building ahead, the curve in the road definitely adds a nice element with the contoured streaks. Nice shot 8 - JB |

My Pianoby LanSnakeComment: Superb job... I love the simplicity of the photograph - it describes what you feel your corner of the world is very well. The cropping/angle of the shot seems to work very well for this photograph. 8 - JB |

San Antonio, Texas - Remember the ALAMO!by xertionComment: This one NEARLY hits home :) Definitely meets the challenege - I have no doubt where you are from! I'm your neighbor, about 180 miles to the east. This is a great, classic shot, of the Alamo. The shot has excellent clarity, and is very level. Any particular reason on the B&W? I think a bit of color in the sky, would be a perfect contrast for this picture... 8 - JB |

Surf Reflectionby syamjonimiComment: Great shot! The B&W really works well. This would have been an excellent submission for the reflection contest this week as well!!! -JB |

Tranqulity on Heirisson Islandby lisaeComment: Neat place that you live! I think the use of b/w in this photo, works well. It definitely cuts down on the color, and emits a feeling of... tranquility as you put it :) This shot is quite pleasing to the eye.... 7 - JB |
