Winter Wonderlandby philupComment: I've got to agree with a lot of people here at DPC, your IR work is unbelievable!! As another lover of landscape photography, I've got to give you all the props on being a great photographer. Just added you to my favorites as I feel like I could learn a lot from your work. Well done Philup! |

Naveby SJCarterComment: Nice lines, perspective, and great decision on the faded color. I think it compliments the wood well. |

Beachcombingby SJCarterComment: I agree that the out of focus area at the front of the picture weakens this shot. I love to take these sorts of shots at the beach here in SF, and I've found that I like my images that start off with a sharp focus area better. |

Circa 1954by SJCarterComment: Very DPC friendly image here. Nice lines and colors. Definitely gave it kind of an old time feel with the post processing. Your work continues to get better and better. You have always done such great work without the best technology (although I see that you have a DSLR now).
Cheers! |

America's Fading Glory IIby SJCarterComment: This is my favorite of the two versions. The added ray of light really makes this an even stronger image. This image conveys so much emotion to me, from pride to concern with the current state of our country. Fantastic work Jimmy. |

5 O'Clock Shadowby SJCarterComment: This shot just seems too yellow to me for some reason. I love the composition and setting...maybe its just this monitor at work. |

Papayaby SJCarterComment: Awesome dog shot Jimmy. The eye color really stands out against the neutral colors of the setting. I actually like the processing that you used on this shot. The sharpness is perfect!
I hope all is well back in Virginia! |
