This was my first challenge and I'm happy with the results.

I chose this photo from a series of like shots because I preferred its composition over others which were more technically correct and showed less camera shake. I realize I had no business hand holding this at 1/8 second but I often go ahead and see what turns out anyway. I had no tripod handy and it was quite dark (much more so than the picture shows). I played around a bit with cropping the lights out but decided to leave them in because they punched it up a bit (plus it was 3 minutes before midnight of the challenge!)

The vignetting is an unavoidable characteristic shooting at f/1.2 with this lens (85mm). I was using ISO 1600, 1/8 second.

I like this concept. I think that the yellow sign might have distracted me from looking at the two people at first, so it took me a minute to try and figure the message. The message might be easier to pick out if it were cropped out?

Nicely colorful. The darker foreground would be nice if it were a little brighter. The brighter left side somehow leads the eye out of the picture. Good composition!
