Thanks to everyone who took the time to add the helpful comments.
This was my first challenge and I'm happy with the results.
I chose this photo from a series of like shots because I preferred its composition over others which were more technically correct and showed less camera shake. I realize I had no business hand holding this at 1/8 second but I often go ahead and see what turns out anyway. I had no tripod handy and it was quite dark (much more so than the picture shows). I played around a bit with cropping the lights out but decided to leave them in because they punched it up a bit (plus it was 3 minutes before midnight of the challenge!)
The vignetting is an unavoidable characteristic shooting at f/1.2 with this lens (85mm). I was using ISO 1600, 1/8 second.
Thank You all once again for the many comments! |

This, for some odd reason, looks like toys to me, though I know it's not. It's very interesting. And nice composition. I would probably have cropped a sliver off the left side to get rid of that glaring light. |

JeJeJe.. I have shot that same damned angle with that same damned tree. I didn't use my Sagamores on this challenge though. Nice shot, great water. Pity it isn't crisper or I'd have it at 9 instead of 8. |

To me, the bridge does not seem fully in focus. |

Too blurry and I would have cropped out the light on the far left |

Very pretty... I would suggest cropping out the very bright light to the left, though. I could do without the tree/bush at the bottom, too - maybe a slightly different angle? Still, very pretty capture. |

this would be a very cool shot if it were a little sharper and less blurry |

Nice composition. The reflections are very nice. I think that the bright light on the left edge under the bridge should either be cropped out or show all of it, it seems a bit distracting as is. The shrub in the lower center also, kind of weakens the image IMO. Perhaps taken a few feet to the left or right? |

Too bad you didn't use a tripod. The light is nice here and you left your shutter open the perfect amount. A tripod would have ensured at least one thing int he image was cripsly focused That way, even if there's motion in the ship, your eye has a place to focus. This looks too hand-held. |

The light on the left-hand side really distracts. |

nice composition, but there is heavy vignetting (darkening of the corners) in this exposure |

That shining orange light to the far left is very distracting, and the ship seems that it could use more sharpness. The tree in the front is somewhat deterring as well.
Overall, I really like this pic though! I like the soft waves the ship is creating and the reflections are very nice. Nice night to take the pic as well. |

Nice composition. Perhaps the ship is a bit out of focus or some kind of indesiderable fuzzyness. The tree is a bit distracting. Lovely reflections. |

I like the composition and colors in this shot a lot, but it's a bit soft in focus, which is very common with low-light shots. I actually like the little tree in the foreground, but I think she shot could be improved by including less of the road in the bottom-left corner. |

Nice cast to the colors. Needs better focus, I think. |
