it's a good shot of the subject, but the subject itself just seems to lack interest. the addition of an element might make it more interesting, like a flower or something... or maybe something less cliche, whatever.

it looks like the white balance on this shot is a little off. did you shooot it under flourescent light? well anyways, it's a good picture. if you lit it from the side of the frame, it would make nice shadows and bring out the texture of the coins.

this is a wonderful subject. I like the color contrast between the warm rust and bricks and the cool grass. you might want to try to tone down the sky. if you made the whole image a little darker, it might enhance the abandoned feeling of the building and keep the sky from bleeding like that. nice shot.

great spiraling action going on. I like how the curves are interrupted by the straight lines of the beams. also good colors. the one thing wrong is that the focus looks a little fuzzy, like you tried to handhold a long exposure or something. good photo, though.

there must be something here that you want me to see, but that I'm missing. is it the fuzz on the plant? I really have no idea. But it's a nice shot anyways, so no worries, and I think it fits the challenge just fine. I like the pull focusing to make the background blurred. I also like the colors in the background. the composition is nice too. I would suggest using a slightly larger dof, though, so you can get the whole plant in focus.

yes, I suppose the sun does qualify as old. you had to mention it in the title, though, or you knew people wouldn't get it. it's a good twist on the theme of "old". also a nice shot. the colors are the best part. I also like the little ray of light coming out of the top.

the angle on this photo is great, but you need a few things. first, try focusing on the bridge, and using a greater depth of field. second, get rid of that glare by lighting it from teh side instead of overhead. third, the shot would probably work better in black and white.

this is a great idea. the colors are very nice, and I like the image within the image thing going on. two suggestions. if you back up and zoom in, you can get rid of the distortion that comes from shooting with a wide angle lens. also, if you stand in the middle of the two windows, you could get them nice and flat and hopefully still not catch your own reflection.

this shot has great colors. also nice lighting and nice composition. I'm not sure why, but I think I would like the picture better without the stuffed animal. it kind of takes the focus off the room itself. great photo, though.
