Morning at Glacier National Parkby MalokataComment: Neato. Great reflection shot! It might be nice to have the mountain placed somewhere besides the dead center of the picture, but it's a great photo nonetheless. You probably meant to put it there anyways, so who am I to argue? |

pre-digitalby queen 91Comment: funny, I have the exact same old canon. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of other people tell you the same thing too. anyways, things to fix... well, I think the blue camera kind of detracts from the picture. so first of all, focus exclusively on the slr. secondly, if you light it with a flash like that, the background becomes really ugly and you get glare off the subject. light it from the side to make nice shadows and give the image more depth. use different angles and compositions to focus in on certain design aspects of the canon rather than the whole thing at once. |

Stopped In It's Tracks by timj351Comment: this is a really pretty shot. the colors are really great. the best part, I think, is the sky, so it would be nice if you backed up and shot the picture in vertical format, placing the tractor at the bottom of the frame so you could see more sky. I really like the shot as it is, though. |

We don't get many visitors anymore...by mscott821Comment: this is a great subject for the challenge, and a well done photograph as well. the sepia toning was a great idea. The only way I could think of to make this photo better would be to wait for the lighting to improve. |

I'm a little rustyby arippsComment: good subject, good composition, and good colors. the only problem you need to correct is the overexposure of the sky. it looks like you already tried to fix that with your flash. I guess there's not much else you could do if it's in a museum. maybe you could have a buddy cover up the window fromthe outside? what might be best is to wait until it's not so bright outside (though by then the museum or whatever could be closed. I don't know) |

Still Friskyby JEFFCOWLESComment: I wish I knew what it was (though not knowing doesn't detract from the appeal of the photo at all). I really like the picture. great lighting and colors. the one thing I would reccomend is to move slightly to the left to increase the distance between the original and the shadow, putting one near each corner. great shot, though. |
