| I wish I knew what it was (though not knowing doesn't detract from the appeal of the photo at all). I really like the picture. great lighting and colors. the one thing I would reccomend is to move slightly to the left to increase the distance between the original and the shadow, putting one near each corner. great shot, though. |

| I like this very much. I'd crop a little at the left but that's it. The play of light through the glass is so perfectly visible in the shadow - it's great. |

| This is an excellent composition and I love the shadow play in this photo. My only trouble is that I don't think I understand what I'm looking at and i'm not receiving the 'old' message. I assume the object that is holding the brandy snifter is old possibly... I may need some help with this one after the challenge :) - jmsetzler |

| The idea is great, i would have just worked with the lighting more to eliminate the hot spots., and try to create a more solid shadow. |

| Wow - a real cognac drinker. Lovely placement of subject and great framing. The spotlight behind the glass is just a touch too strong for my taste but it leads the eye perfectly. Excellent set up and execution. 9 from me. |

| I like this, great lighting. For me there's just a bit too much negative space. Maybe shooting portait and cropping tighter - all very subjective though. Well done - lamedos |

Something old. Use your photographic technique to emphasize the age of your subject.
Composition - very good
Technical Aspects - very good. The bright light on the wall bothers me a little, but not enough to mark down.
Meets Challenge - yes
Visual Impact / Originality - high

| Composition is one of my hardest things to conceive. I like the composition of the picture. Question though, what is "old" in this picture? |
