IMHO it's not really hidden when you set it up. I enjoy your idea, and the B&W looks great but I think you sell yourself short when you set up things like this. Had this been an ad or something I would comment differently.

As I look at this I wonder where the face is. I assume (appologize if I'm wrong) that the rocks are the eyes, and the path is the mouth? If that is the case I was thrown off massively by the tight cropping. I would have liked this alot more without the distracting border.

I've been looking at this for about ten minutes now. I've come to the conclusion that your 'hidden face' is that of the person in the photo. I don't necessarily like this idea, nor do I think it represents what they meant by 'hidden faces'. With that said I think the colors alone on this photo are awesome, not to mention the texture of the sky. I really do like the silhouette (spelling?). I think over all it's an amazing shot, may even go in my favorites. But for the sake of the challenge I didn't think it was a winner.
