Wrapped a piece of cloth around the plug-in air freshner and held it with one hand. The part that sort of looks like 'her' shoulder is actually my index finger :)
Built-in flash used at Slow Sync (Front Curtain). Blurred lights in the background are city lights seen through tinted glass window.

Processing:
- Cropped a bit
- Adjusted Curves

greetings from the CC, well, hmm you certainly 'found' a face and made it look real with the cloth, the technical problems are the white areas are overexposed, and it is not sharp. However I am sure that these are intentional and I think they actually serve to enhance your shot. Great title, suits this woman well.
Not the kind of shot that would do well on dpc, but not the less a creative and well done interpretation of the challenge topic.

Great idea that could have been carried out a bit better, but I love it anyway! The composition is terrific and I love the touch of the scarf that gives the back side of the air freshener a human touch. The blurred and spotted bg along with the overexposed figure gives an outdoor urban appearance. However, I wish the overexpose wasn't so extreme and think that focus could be sharper on the subject. Other than that, I think this is brilliant!

I like the face. I think you would have done just as well without the drape.

Would be one of the best if less blured

Very cute! I don't usually like the more abstractly treated shots, but this one kinda works.

Unique and creative. Looks like you maybe needed a tripod in the low light.

Very good job arranging this shot! Soft/blur effect quite effective. One of my top picks.

this could have gone much higher in the scores IMO but the motion blur or whatever it is causing this image to be blurry realy hurt this shot. I think it is creative enough that this might have been a strong contender for a ribbon.

Pretty cool idea, but unfortunately it leaves a lot to be disered in terms of execution :( Noise, vibration of the camera, overexposed face, etc. I would blur the bg too.

A unique modern rendition to this challenge with eyeballs that glitter and a shawl to flesh out the subject. 8

Others may not rate this highly, but I appreciate the raw creativity of it, the eerie, washed-out tonalities. Good job.

I think this is a really awesome composition... the camera shake actually adds a little bit to it too. However, I think it might have helped to have a little bit less camera shake on the figure on the right, so that it were somewhat more clearly defined. A great composition though!
