Hostageby BeagleboyComment: Not what I would consider a formal studio portrait, but you have defininately made your point well. The lighting is nice (for what you're trying to achieve) but I find the light area in the upper right corner distracting from the rest of the photo. |

All American Pug, He thinks he's human!by hallswelComment: Despite the fact that the challenge clearly stated the photo should be of a person, I think this is a great shot. The accessories are nice, but the straw hat is a bit too bright and detracts from the rest of the photo. |

Mayor of Dogvilleby ellamayComment: Despite the fact that the challenge clearly stated the photo should be of a person, I think this is an interesting shot. The lighting is quite harsh, though and not typically what you would find in a studio type portrait. Perhaps a little light on his/her face so that there would have been a reflection in the eyes would have helped to brighten up the photo a bit. |

It's In The Eyesby K-RobComment: Despite the fact that the challenge clearly stated the photo should be of a person, I think this is a great shot. The lighting is very nice and the catchlights in his/her eyes are wonderful. I do think that his/her whole body should have been in focus instead of just the head. Had the subject only been a person, I would have scored much higher. |

Bella Fioreby scalvertComment: This is a beautiful, timeless photograph! Wonderful job. My only complaint is that her face is so shadowed. I like the bright side light, but a soft glow on her face would have made it perfect. |

sophisticatedby hopperComment: This is a great photograph. I love the lighting and the soft warm hues on her skin. But, I would prefer her shoulders to be in focus, and to show more of her instead of just her head. |

Safari Samby JackoComment: Perfect! I love everything about this picture. The white chair on the white background really allows you to focus on the subject. Great! |

Pleasant thoughtsby awpollardComment: The lighting and composition is great in this photo. My only complaint is that the POV is too low. |
