I think if you had something to rest your elbows on it is likely that you could have eliminated some of the blur in your hands.

Without the CD-ROM this is something that I would definately consider hanging in my home. A very nice shot.

As for following the challeng, I believe it does so nicely.

If you can reshoot this without the CD-ROM and possibly do something to even out the lighting in the background this would make a decent print. (In my neophyte opinion)

Perhaps it's just me, but the bird in the image seems to take away a little.

This made me think of some monstrous rusted angry mechanical toucan looking to chomp its 'beak' down on yet another victim...

Course, it could be a pair of rusted shears too...

Great shot, I really liked the initial 'Zaaa!' this shot said to me.

I like the way the shadows are cast over this rusting hulk. It convinces me that this must be resting just inside a wooded area, perhaps forgotten by some long ago contractor that was to busy with other things to remember where he left his 'toy'.

The little snippet of a building in the distance on the right is slightly distracting. I have found my eyes drawn to it as a point of interest a few times. It's probably because of the additional 'open' area in that portion of the image.

What's going on in the background? Those odd shapes are a little distracting.
