Habitual Dilemma'sby boredComment: nice try, but i like the shot with the pencil better. i still applauid your originality. the text here doesn;t really convey "habit" and you really can;t show chew marks on a pen as well as on a pencil. this shot is lacking that feeling of a habit. |

Feeding the Habitby mariomelComment: beautiful shades of gray-blue....i like the rhythym of the space. it would be nice to be able to punch the lights in the ceiling a bit more to make them relate to the light on the floor |

I really need to quit.by awpollardComment: cool composition and depth of field, the cropping leaves something to be desired. I would have liked to have seen the subjects eyes...maybe he could be exhaling some smoke? |

Rush Hour by moodvilleComment: excellent shot, i would have waited for jeremy mcgrath to pull a no handed superman seat grab before i shot, but this is still a beautiful pose. |

lord of the fliesby highpriceComment: thanks for the comments. I fully agree with the amputee comment, but I didn't want to lose the verticality of the pole by sliding the shot down. I also liked the fact that the pole split the second boys face in half. It's almost like he is hiding. I wish i was ready with my camera a few minutes earlier when these kids approached us with hog-tied iguanas for sale. |

Walt Disney Concert Hallby MrAkamaiComment: fyi, the panels are made of titanium. i would say that is one of mr. gehry's favorite materials to use on his buildings.
back to the phot, it's a great shot, i would have brought the viewing angle up a bit higher so that the railing would show some movement to echo the building. At the current viewing angle the railing starts to come off the page, but then turns into a hrozontal element. if it came out of the page it would be much more dramatic and really reinforce the movement going on in the photo.
you should try photographing this on a gloomy/ rainy day. the titanium takes on many moods due to weather. it's always an interesting subject.
