these bug eating kids happened upon us when our speedboatboat broke down along the mekong river. what a snack

thanks for the comments. I fully agree with the amputee comment, but I didn't want to lose the verticality of the pole by sliding the shot down. I also liked the fact that the pole split the second boys face in half. It's almost like he is hiding. I wish i was ready with my camera a few minutes earlier when these kids approached us with hog-tied iguanas for sale.

This is a nice shot. I like the subject matter and the choice of black and white. Overall, it's a good composition. Some problems I have with it (outside the rather sinister implications of the title) are that you cropped the foremost boy's legs at an awkward spot and it looks like an amputee. If you had moved a bit to the right, you might have avoided splitting the second boy's face in half with the fishing pole.
