too mainstream for me. looks like a shot out of Maxxim Magazine. All too common but BRILLIANT focus and a nice shot. 6/10

Yes I would like to know how you did that focusing also.

i think this is an uncalled-for remark. given that you yourself have won a fair number of ribbons, and assuming you think your own shots full of imagination and vision, wouldn't that be enough for you to not make such a cranky comment?

and please, pray tell us the last timen you SAW, let alone SHOT, a motorcycle in mid-air surrounded by tall buildings?

Every now and again I get confused, and think that dpc might have something to do with imagination and vision. More fool me.

Apologies for posting this on your photo - but I think it needs saying, and I'm sure you have enough congratulations to keep you happy.

Just what you'd expect to find in the financial district in Wichita ;)

Great Shot Nyki. It would have been better if it were a gorilla on the bike, but what're you going to do? Prolly would have worked for Centred Composition, too.

Oddly enough, I've never taken a photo of a person doing motorcycle stunts on a city street either. ;-) This is a great shot and I hope you get a ribbon for it.

Excellent stop action capture at a great moment. Great focus and color. The background building building makes it appear there is no where for the biker to land except into it's side. You should be very pleased with this image. It is one of the best of this challenge.

You managed to capture this action moment at the perfect time.. and the buildings in the background make me wonder where exactly was this guy riding? lol. Nice stuff.

10- Excellent. The best part of this photo is the buildings behind. They add a great solid, heavy, serious contrast to the fun action in front. Super impressed.

Perfect timing! Great composition, exposure nailed. The wisp of smoke from the exhaust falling above the shadowed area adds a special touch. Should finish very high.

This is a great shot. Can see every detail on the guy and bike. I also liked how you captured it in front of a building, its different. Most of the time you just see the sky as a background on these shots. Good job.

the background is what makes this fine shot extra-ordinary as it is a surprise element - your cropping and crisp exposure has this one stand out from the "too many" motorcycle shots. well done

Excellent shot! I've been trying to get photos of birt bike jumps but haven't even got close to something this good. Buildings in the background also give it a certain something that makes it stand out. Love it. 10
