Oak in Green and Blueby C_Steve_GComment: Nice photo. I think it would look even better with a filter to enhance the blue and green. However, although the photo contains water, I see the oak tree as the subject and don't really notice the water much. But again, it's a nice photo, and nicely composed. |

Some like it Hotby graphicfunkComment: The idea of one bottle pouring into the other (even by reflection, as it seems to be here) has a certain appeal, but I think the flame is distracting. It's not clear to me what you intended the flame to contribute to this photo. Perhaps you just needed a light source... ? |

My Backyardby banditComment: I think you really made this one work by using smaller sized left and right panels. It's a great shot, but wouldn't have been as interesting if you had left them all the same size. Very beautifully done! |

Night shiftby cabaComment: Very unique! I love your border! I think this shot would be better if your buildings were just a bit sharper. Maybe some USM, and a little more DOF? But otherwise, beautifully done! |

The Breakby JohnTFComment: Great shot! I like your composition for each photo. I think the center shot could improve from som increased DOF, and all the shots could be improved by adjusting the color balance/curves. There's a lot of red and yellow here. Nice job! |

Bird of Prey by CutterComment: I like this concept a lot. You've captured the birds beautifully! Great detail and nice close-ups. I find the background in each shot a bit distracting, however. I know it wouldn't be legal for the challenge, but afterwards, you might want to consider placing each bird on a black or very dark background, so that they just pop out. Although, I admit, I'm not sure how well this would work for the water shots. Overall, nice job! |

Liliesby gemeitComment: Not a bad idea. The focus and DOF is good. I like the water droplets on the petals. I think this triptych would be better if the photo on the left didn't have such a strong orange-yellow tone, while the other two have a greenish yellow tone. I think that, for balance, either all the photos should have the same tone, or the right and left ones should be the same, while the middle one is different. Otherwise, very nice shot. |
