This was conceived as a "Polish Magus" because of the poland spring water. I then had second thoughts because people might interpret Polish as in shine. I changed the name and rendered the image almost meaningless.

It is a time exposure first catching the water and then the insertion of the fire in discreet donuts and separated. A magician playing with the elements.

careful when you change a name at the last moment. Titles are not always important but sometimes they matter.

Wow...first time I've seen this one.

Unusually low score for such a great image. I can only imagine that the voters thought the fire was too strong an element in the composition. :shrugs:

Dan, I'm glad you don't care about scores, because I don't know how you can tolerate such a score with all the work I know you put into your pieces. You were robbed here.

Wow, I'm wondering how this was done. It's got everything (almost :) ) in it.

This is a very interesting and different photo. I will have to come back to it.

The idea of one bottle pouring into the other (even by reflection, as it seems to be here) has a certain appeal, but I think the flame is distracting. It's not clear to me what you intended the flame to contribute to this photo. Perhaps you just needed a light source... ?

I'm viewing this as product photography. The concept is good and has interest, energy, and color - all good with advertising. I'm not sure if it's the type of text on the bottle but it almost seems blurry. If that is the product you're trying to sell then that has to be the sharpest/strongest part of the image, unfortunately that doesnt seem to be the case here. Overall the concept and impact is good, but the execution could do with some work.

A very mystical and intriquing picture. This shot could only be devised and created by one person. Well done. Dan(?)
